Howden, a small market town in the East Riding of Yorkshire. Situated 1 mile
from Junction 37 of the M62, we are within commuter links to Selby, Doncaster,
Hull, York, Leeds and Sheffield. Howden train station is approximately 1 mile
from the town square and is served by First Trans-Pennine Express, GNER and Hull
Trains ensuring excellent transport links with the rest of the UK.

Position: Cleaner (temporary position)
Salary: £6.25 per hour
Hours: 5.30am – 9.30am
Location: Howden, East Yorkshire
Job Summary:
To achieve the department objectives in line with the corporate strategy and
vision for which the job holder is directly responsible, and continuously
improve performance.
Company cleaners are required to clean the offices, meeting rooms and
reception areas to Ebuyer's high standard, in order to create a warm,
accommodating environment for both staff and visitors.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- The thorough cleaning of the Ebuyer premise to a high standard on a daily
basis.
- Follow cleaning check-lists to ensure that all tasks are carried out on a
daily basis.
- Adhere to stated policies and procedures regarding health and safety in
the workplace.
- Adhere to procedures regarding the proper use and care of equipment and
materials associated with the role.
- Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge in order to
effectively perform the role.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Technical
- Cleaning with machinery as well as by hand.
- Transferring supplies for cleaning around the Ebuyer building.
- Disposing of rubbish in the safest and most appropriate manner.

Job Summary:
The role of the Buyer is to maximise the revenue and profit of their chosen
category, through buying, pricing, promotion, merchandising, and stock
management. Continually comparing Ebuyer's products with those of its
competitors whilst negotiating prices with suppliers and manufacturers is
essential in order to provide customers with the lowest possible price.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Quickly become an expert in the chosen market and offer a better range of
products than Ebuyer's competitors.
- Maximise availability through buying the right quantities at the right
time from multiple sources, whilst working with manufacturers and suppliers
to secure allocation.
- Check pricing against competition on a daily basis ensuring Ebuyer offers
the cheapest product prices.
- Negotiate lowest possible purchase prices.
- Secure deals on a daily basis and offer incredible savings to our
customers.
- Minimise overstocks.
- Adhere to stated policies and procedures regarding health and safety in
the workplace.
- Adhere to procedures regarding the proper use and care of equipment and
materials associated with the role.
- Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge in order to
effectively perform the role.

Position: Junior Web Designer
Location: Howden, East Yorkshire
Role Overview:
The role of the Junior Web Designer will be to assist with the production of
web site graphics to meet the needs of the busy and expanding marketing team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reporting to your line manager.
- Production of artwork and graphic images for use on Ebuyer.com.
- Work as part of a team, embracing the common goal of achieving personal
and company targets.
- Ensure artwork and coding meets high quality and accuracy standards.
- Be keen to develop and take advantage of the many opportunities at
Ebuyer.com.
- Adhere to stated policies and procedures regarding health and safety in
the workplace.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Competence in Adobe Creative Suite CS4 and above
- In particular InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Open Office Spreadsheet use
- Confident in hand coding XHTML and CSS
- An understanding of Javascript/jQuery
- An understanding of producing artwork for print
- Multiple media experience (Flash/Actionscript, illustration, video, etc.)
is preferred but not essential
Professional:
- Ability to carry out instructions effectively and efficiently
- Ability to work accurately and to strict deadlines
- Adopt respectful approach to colleagues
